Our Community Partners
Built on Community, Driven by Impact
Giving back to our community has always been at the heart of Moreton Hire. For over 55 years, we’ve partnered with a diverse range of clients, charities, and community groups through active contribution and support.
Through Moreton Hire Impact, we continue this legacy with a stronger, more purposeful focus: building stronger communities, backing causes close to our team, and creating meaningful change where we live and work. From local schools and sporting groups to national charity partners, each of our branches contributes in ways that uplift the people and places around us.
For us, community isn’t an afterthought, it’s embedded in our DNA. Every donation, partnership and contribution reflects our belief that when communities thrive, we all thrive.

KALBAR SUNFLOWER FESTIVAL
Our commitment to fostering stronger, more connected communities comes to life through initiatives like our support for the Kalbar Sunflower Festival.
Recognising the festival’s role in uniting people and championing local causes, we worked alongside organisers to enhance the experience for visitors and strengthen the facilities that serve the Scenic Rim all year round.
Moreton Hire’s support included:
- Over $3,000 raised for Hummingbird House who provide paediatric palliative care services.
- Upgraded festival seating enjoyed by thousands of visitors to the Kalbar Sunflower Festival.
- 120 new chairs for Kalbar and Harrisville Schools of Arts.
- Stools and outdoor lounges for Harrisville Football Club.

“The impact of Moreton Hire’s generosity has been far-reaching—supporting community spaces, enhancing local events, and contributing to a cause that touches hearts across Queensland… We cannot thank them enough for their kindness, community spirit, and commitment to making a difference.”

The Good Box
In lieu of corporate gifts at Christmas, Moreton Hire donates annually to The Good Box, a social enterprise that delivers beautifully packaged boxes of essentials to Australians doing it tough.
Curated with care and handwritten messages, the boxes restore dignity and spark conversation. Through this partnership, we aim to break stigma and support real, human connection in our cities and regions. Quietly, respectfully, and with heart.
“Every Christmas, Moreton Hire’s generosity helps us deliver around 50 Christmas Good Boxes to people doing it tough. Each one is packed with essentials, little treats, and a whole lot of love. For someone experiencing homelessness or severe hardship, opening a Good Box at Christmas is more than receiving gifts – it’s the feeling of being seen, valued, and remembered at a time when loneliness can feel overwhelming.
Moreton Hire’s support doesn’t just fill boxes; it fills hearts. The smiles, the tears of relief, and the moments of connection your customers help create are truly priceless. You’re not just giving a gift, you are giving hope, dignity, and the reassurance that someone cares.”

YALARI
For over 10 years, Moreton Hire has supported Yalari, an extraordinary education charity providing full scholarships to Indigenous students from remote communities.
We’ve proudly sponsored students like Jessica Singh, who completed a Bachelor of Social Science at Bond University and now works for the Attorney General’s Department in Canberra. Moreton Hire continues to support Yalari’s mission of creating generational change through education. With over 250 students currently enrolled and nearly 600 alumni, Yalari is a model of leadership, cultural pride, and long-term impact.

“Yalari’s impact reaches far beyond education — it’s about empowerment, opportunity, and pride. As a family business, we’ve seen firsthand how Yalari transforms lives and strengthens communities. Supporting Yalari means investing in the next generation of leaders, and we’re proud to walk alongside them on that journey.”

ROYAL FLYING DOCTOR SERVICE
Moreton Hire has proudly supported the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), one of Australia’s most vital healthcare providers. The RFDS delivers life-saving aeromedical care to people living in rural, regional, and remote communities.
Over the decades, Moreton Hire has donated equipment, furnishings, and event infrastructure to help the RFDS raise awareness and critical funds. It’s a relationship built on shared values: commitment, care, and connection to the communities that need it most.
The RFDS attends to over 370,000 Australians every year, bringing emergency evacuations, primary healthcare, and telehealth to the bush with compassion and precision. For Moreton Hire, backing their mission is part of our promise to support the people and places that make Australia extraordinary.
“The Flying Doctor provides an extraordinary service for people living in regional and remote Australia. It’s a cause I care deeply about, and supporting the RFDS is one small way Moreton Hire can give back to the communities that have supported our business for many years.”

A TEAM MENTALITY
At Moreton Hire, we understand that meaningful community engagement starts from within, and as such we are proud to support initiatives that are personally important to our team members. Whether it’s a charity they volunteer with, a community project they’re passionate about, or a cause close to their heart, we actively encourage and assist our team in making a difference.
This includes:
- Matching donations or providing equipment to registered charities supported by staff.
- Supporting staff participation in fundraising events or awareness campaigns.
- Backing community sports and grassroots initiatives.
By supporting what matters to our people, we extend the impact of our CSR efforts well beyond official programs, ensuring our values are lived out at every level of the organisation.

A BRIGHT FUTURE
As a family business, we believe our role extends beyond the projects we deliver. Supporting our communities, protecting the environments we work in, and contributing where we can are responsibilities we take seriously.
