GENERATIONS OF CARE
Moreton Hire Impact is more than a commitment, it’s our legacy. As a third-generation Australian family business, the Morahan family has always believed that what we build today should make life better tomorrow. Our approach to social responsibility is shaped by that belief: a responsibility not only to our clients, team members and communities, but to our children, grandchildren, and the generations that follow.
From ecological restoration & creating safe wildlife corridors in the Scenic Rim, supporting Indigenous students, to ensuring our supply chain is ethical from procurement to pack-down. Much of our work happens quietly, but the impact is enduring. Carried forward in healthier landscapes, stronger communities, and opportunities that grow over time.

PARTNERSHIPS IN ACTION
Land For Wildlife
Land for Wildlife is a government-supported program that helps private landholders manage and restore native habitats. The initiative provides ecological assessments, practical advice, and on-ground support to protect biodiversity and encourage sustainable land management.
Through this partnership, Moreton Hire has participated in ecological reviews, revegetation workshops, and the planting of over 2,000 native root stock plants within the Scenic Rim. The program’s ongoing guidance continues to inform how the land is managed for long-term biodiversity gains and improved ecosystem health.

“Land for Wildlife is proud to partner with organisations like Moreton Hire that take an active role in land restoration. Their ongoing efforts in the Scenic Rim demonstrate strong environmental leadership and a genuine commitment to long-term biodiversity outcomes.”
Greg Tasney, Land for Wildlife

Koala & Birdlife Protection Programs
Working with specialist conservation teams, cameras and acoustic monitoring devices have been installed across the Scenic Rim regeneration site to track local koala populations and detect endangered species such as the Eastern Bristlebird and the Glossy Black Cockatoo. These efforts are helping build a clearer understanding of how restored habitats can sustain and protect vulnerable wildlife.
